One of the unique features of Inline’s tamper evident products is the tear strip. This is the most recognized tamper evident mechanism in the market and provides clarity as to whether the package has been compromised. It also ensures the contents are safe. The area where this is located also includes the grip, which allows for easy opening of the package. In the retail arena, there has been ample feedback that this small additional space generally doesn’t have any significant impact on shelf spacing. Inline Plastics has been supplying tamper evident packaging with the tear strip for over 15 years, representing billions of unit sales, and has yet to receive any complaints for anyone choking on the tear strip. This point is generally brought up by competitors with inferior T/E products to incorrectly create false concerns where none exist.

Our line spans over 400 stock items – and another 100 custom – I am sure we can find something that will work. What exactly are we looking for?

Our pull force specification has and upper and lower limit in which all our items are tested. It is a standard test we perform every roll change back to the production batch. We take our quality very seriously so in an event this is observed, we look to find the root cause – to do that we need case codes to trace back to production batch which we would review in detail to understand what was missed. Do you happen to have that handy, our quality team will be all over it?
