13.11 Lunch and Learns – Competitive and Other Topics
Each month Marketing Team prepares a Lunch and Learn meeting. Lunch and Learns cover many different topics, but the most frequent one is Competition. We review around 8 competitors in depth each year, spending an hour on each one.
We have also spent time on specific topics involving entire market – such as competitive activity in the field of sustainability and tamper evidence. We also look at specific retail channels, market segments, trends etc.

The objective of these monthly Lunch and Learns is to keep everyone abreast of market events, learn about additional trends meeting participants have observed, sharing lessons learned and market knowledge. Besides the sales and marketing teams, executive leadership team and RD&E team also participates. Everyone is encouraged to share learnings and enrich the session with their own knowledge and experience.
