Setting up a New POD Program with CDI price Adjustment Mechanism
ESCALATOR/DE-ESCALATOR TAB 10. Go to Escalator De-escalator Tab
• Enter date in the “Date” box and fill in “Initiators’ Name” • 1. “Type of Request” select from the dropdown box:
• New Escalator De-escalator Program • Current Program – Product Additions • Adding a New Program to an Existing CDI • 2., 3., and 4. will prepopulate from information entered in the NCM header. • 5. “Initial Effective Date” (Most important to enter) If Distribution, new item addition, correlate with initial purchase order date for rebate flow. If back dating effective date more than 60 days, VP of Sales approval is required. • 6. “First Price Effective”, select the dropdown and choose one of the following: “Next Price Effective Date” – Meaning - The item(s) added pricing will increase or decrease, based on CDI adjustment change, at the next quarter update. “Hold for One Quarter” - Meaning - The item(s) added pricing will not change with the next quarter price adjustment. (VP of Sales approval may be required) • 7. “Program Number”, if program exists enter program number in box. If new program; box is blank. 7a. Only enter information if adding a new program to an existing CDI, by selecting the “Yes” box or No” box. If so, enter current POD#.
