13.5 Converting existing POD to CDI

Escalator/De-Escalator tab in the NCM sheet

We still have a set of customers that do not use CDI on their POD Rebate Program. Below are the list of steps for when existing customers are looking to convert to a CDI price adjustment mechanism. If converting program during time of price increase announcement follow email notice for CDI adjustme: 1. Download a copy of existing POD program from Programs Database. 2. Go to Salesforce, open, and download the current copy of All Products NCM ROI Worksheet (NCM). The file is password protected – you will get the password at initial training from your Directors and/or Pricing Manager. 3. Select NCM tab, fill in all relevant information per NCM instructions for all items that’ll be on the new CDI POD program only. Current POD Rebate pricing is used as the initial pricing for the POD CDI program with new items to be added. 4. Select Escalator De-escalator tab, fill in document per Escalator De-escalator instructions: o Enter existing POD program number o Enter pertinent information to answer questions 1—10 in the form. o The program “Initial Effective Date” is determined per the Sales Manager agreement with the customer o review documents for completeness 5. Email the current POD and NCM to Pricing Manager for review and setup of the new CDI. 6. Using the “Initial Effective Date”, the quarterly CDI average will be established using a pre- established Inline schedule for index pricing coupled with any prior communication on this program. 7. The Pricing Manager creates the POD CDI program, within the 48 working hours of submission of the above documents. a. The quarterly CDI benchmark average will be visible in the Key Definitions in the “New Price” bullet section. b. Key Definitions also includes the next price adjustment effective date. 8. The Pricing Manager will email the new CDI program to the internal team and any additional email addresses noted in the Escalator De-escalator tab.
